HOSTING A BACHELORETTE PARTY @ DisneyWorld
Before we dive in, I should tell you this Disney World bachelorette doesn’t include sipping out of penis shaped straws, pole dancing or any other bride gone wild activities haha! So if that’s your bach style , this isn’t the article for you! With that said, it does include some of the best spots to grab a drink or 10, where to dance all night, the best eats & much more!
I usually try to plan a few getaways a year and out of all them my annual girls trip to Disneyworld is always my favourite! I’ve prepared a weekend itinerary to help you plan a trip your bride & tribe will remember for years to come without blowing the budget! I’ve also added a link to help you or the bride put together some fun party favours for the girls!
ARRIVE FRIDAY -check in/store luggage
DISNEY SPRINGS
By the time you get to checked in to your resort, you may have lost half of the day. Hosting a Disney World bachelorette doesn’t have to be all about the parks! I think this is a good day to hit Downtown Disney, also known as Disney Springs!
Get your girls, get dressed up and head for some shopping. You’ll find designer shops like Kate Spade & Coach. These shops are extra fun because they usually feature special Disney designer items ! My girls and I always make a stop at Basin. This is a bath store with the cutest Mickey shaped soap bars and the prettiest smelling bath bombs. Great souvenirs for any girls who couldn’t make it! Every year I end up with an over weight suitcase because I bought too many bath bombs 😂.
Next, check out the World of Disney. If you don’t have any Mickey ears yet, this is where your squad will find the biggest selection! Make sure to grab the bride this cute Mickey hat with the veil!
LET’S EAT & DRINK
Once you’ve shopped till you dropped, it’s time to refuel! The food choices at Disney Springs are endless so let me make some suggestions based on what you’re in the mood for!
We’re all dressed up, we want something classy & sophisticated for our first meal of the weekend !
PADDLEFISH
– Board an iconic paddleboat anchored on Lake Buena Vista to feast on fresh seafood and savory steaks. Orlando magazine’s “Best Seafood Restaurant” 2018. Beautiful outdoor seating with waterfront view.
STK
– Pricey but worth it. Two storey with rooftop patio, DJ music. Grilled meats , and savoury sides.
Let’s party! Oh, and the diet doesn’t exist this weekend. We want good food & better drinks! 🍹
PLANET HOLLYWOOD
-DJ music, big screen with shoutouts to people celebrating special occasions, song requests, shareable appy platters & specialty cocktails
HOUSE OF BLUES
– Enjoy live music , good food and specialty drinks in this upbeat atmosphere. When you’re finished dinner grab a spot outside on the Front Porch Patio for more entertainment and cold drinks !
Don’t fill up too much on dinner, save some room for drinks and dancing. I’d recommend checking out the Front Porch Patio mentioned/pictured above. The Hangar Bar is another fun spot you could head over to. This is themed like Indiana Jones old hangout turned into a bar. They do game nights here and have awesome late night snacks. If youre ready to dance the rest of the night away check out The Edison. Live DJ, a big dance floor, show dancers & more entertainment every night. Don’t go to hard, it’s only the first night and you’ve all got a big day ahead of you!
SATURDAY MORNING – PARK DAY!
YAY! Today’s the day to get in the Disney Spirit . We’re hitting the parks! A park hopper ticket is a real bonus if you want to see a lot in a little amount of time. However, it’s ok if thats not in the budget or you’re moving a little slower after last night. I recommend doing Magic Kingdom today, it’s really the heart of Disney. And no Disney World bachelorette would be complete without a selfie in front of the castle right?
So get out of bed, put those matching bridal party shirts on and catch the shuttle to MK ! I know you’re tired so head straight to the Starbucks on Main St. Try ordering the Cinderella Latte from Disney’s Secret Menu. You can view more special starbucks drinks at the link below!
If the caffeine alone isn’t cutting it, grab a fruit filled waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hallow before taking on the rest of the park! Depending how early you have arrived , enjoy your breaky while getting those magical shots of the castle before the park gets too crowded !
This your day to soak up all the magic. For a full run down of what not to miss in Magic Kingdom check out my MK bucket.
SUNDAY FUNDAY – LAST DAY 🙁
OK, yesterday was a full action packed day . Today’s about slowing down and enjoying some quality gal time! This would be a good time to get off your feet and float around Typhoon Lagoon’s lazy river. Or grab a few girls and slide down a wild raft ride at Blizzard Beach. Both waterparks have a lot to offer.
If you’re on a tighter budget or just want to explore more of Disney away from the crowds, use today to do a little resort hopping! This is one of my favourite things to do outside the parks at Disney! Bonus it’s completely free.
Sleep in a little and then go for brunch at Boma in the AK lodge. Not only is their brunch buffet killer but the hotel itself is stunning. A lot of the resorts at Disney are like their own little park. You can spend the whole day exploring the beautiful scenery, trendy shops and unique restaurants each resort has to offer.
FINAL EVENING
This Disney World bachelorette isn’t over yet. In keeping with the resort hopping spirit, let’s finish your weekend off with The Monorail Bar Crawl ! This is a super fun “unofficial” Disney event for anyone looking to get a little tipsy at the Happiest Place on Earth ! You can ride the monorail loop for free and get off at each resort to enjoy a bevy or two at the many bars inside. The resorts on this loop offer fine dinning and chic lounges so feel free to dress up for this one! I’ve shared a link below the photo to VisitFlorida where you can read all about this bar crawl and the best things to order at each stop!
The stops include Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). You can board where ever you like, but I recommend ending at the Polynesian or the Contemporary. From here, you’ll be able to watch the Happily Ever After Fireworks from Magic Kingdom. What a great end to an amazing trip!!
